Our menus are written to accommodate the needs and desires of our customers and are customized for each site.

SAMPLE SECONDARY SCHOOL MENUS

Our secondary school menus are usually based on a three-week cycle and repeated three times before they are seasonally adjusted.

The following sample menus accurately reflect meals presently being served.

SAMPLE BREAKFAST MENU

Cereals:
Hot oatmeal
Assorted cold cereals (at least 3 varieties)

Fruits:
Fresh seasonal whole fruit
Fresh fruit cup

Eggs: Scrambled eggs
Omelets made to order
Croissant egg sandwiches
Egg and/or meat sandwiches

Sides: Bacon
Sausage
Hash browns or home fries
Yogurt

Breads and Confections:
Toast (white or whole wheat)
Biscuits
Bagels and cream cheese
Assorted pastries: Coffee cake
Muffins
Danish

Different Specials Offered Daily:
Pancakes, French toast or waffles
Sausage gravy and biscuits, ham or goetta

Beverages:
Assorted juice drinks, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate

SAMPLE LUNCH MENU

Salads:
Salad bar and three different entrée salads daily

Soups:
Different soup offered daily
Chili available daily

Bar Station:
Different bar offered daily, example:

Monday - burger bar
Tuesday - Cincinnati chili bar
Wednesday - baked potato & dressings
Thursday - pizza bar
Friday - pasta bar

Fast Food Station:
Daily offerings of: Hamburgers and cheeseburgers
Fried and grilled chicken sandwiches
Garden burgers
French fries, curly fries or onion rings

A different hot special offered daily, examples:
Rib sandwich, barbeque, fish sandwich, hoagie, chicken fingers or cheese sticks

Cold Sandwiches Offered Daily:
A Selection of at least 5 types of sandwiches

Fresh Whole Fruits
and Assorted Yogurts Daily.

Plate Lunch:
A different plate lunch offered daily that includes an entrée, starch and vegetable. The complete lunch is specially priced and all items are available a la carte. Examples:

  • Thai chicken, steamed rice and stir-fry vegetables
  • Cajun roast pork with pan gravy, whipped potatoes and green beans
  • Vegetarian lasagna with garlic bread and mixed vegetables

Drinks:
Milk, juices, iced tea, coffee and soft drinks

Desserts:
Three to five different desserts offered daily, examples:
Cookies, cobbler, carrot cake, fruit pies, cheesecake
